This Commercial Warranty policy applies exclusively to corporate clients, legal entities, organizations, and individual entrepreneurs (hereinafter referred to as the "Corporate Buyer") who purchase products on the goat.ge online platform for commercial, industrial, business, or operational purposes.
⚠️ Legal Framework Notice: In accordance with the legislation of Georgia, the Law of Georgia "On Protection of Consumer Rights" protects strictly individual natural persons (consumers). Transactions between commercial entities (B2B) are governed exclusively by the Civil Code of Georgia and the terms set forth in this Policy.
Scope of Coverage: The Company provides a limited commercial warranty strictly covering original manufacturing (factory) defects in mechanical and electronic components of the HVAC equipment.
Warranty Period: Unless an explicit alternative service-level agreement (SLA) or custom contract is signed between the parties, the standard commercial warranty for legal entities is 1 (one) year from the date the electronic tax waybill (საქონლის ზედნადები) is activated and confirmed on the rs.ge portal.
Unlike retail consumers, Corporate Buyers are bound by stricter inspection laws under the Civil Code of Georgia:
Mandatory Check upon Delivery: The Corporate Buyer is legally obligated to fully inspect the physical condition, packaging integrity, quantity, and model match of the equipment immediately at the moment of delivery in the presence of the courier/transport agent.
Transfer of Risk: Once the representative of the organization signs the physical courier receipt or accepts the electronic waybill on rs.ge, the risk of accidental loss or physical damage passes entirely to the buyer.
Late Claims Rejected: Subsequent claims regarding mechanical damage, scratches, dents, or incomplete sets (missing remote controls, brackets, etc.) made after acceptance will be strictly rejected.
Reasonable Repair Windows: Because the operation of industrial or commercial HVAC systems depends heavily on localized commercial spaces, the statutory 30-day consumer repair limit does not apply to corporate transactions.
Extended Service Timelines: The Company commits to resolving verified manufacturing defects within a reasonable technical window, which may take up to 60 calendar days, depending on the complexity of the commercial system, diagnostic schedules, and the shipping timeline for specialized manufacturer spare parts.
Exclusion of Business Interruption Liabilities: Under no circumstances shall the Company be held liable for any direct or indirect financial losses, business interruptions, loss of revenue, or operational damages suffered by the organization due to the temporary malfunction or downtime of the climate control equipment.
The commercial warranty for organizations is immediately canceled, and all repair or service claims will be rejected, if any of the following conditions occur:
Commercial Overload: The equipment was operated under extreme conditions that exceed the manufacturer’s design specifications (e.g., standard household split systems installed and run 24/7 in high-heat server rooms, industrial kitchens, or manufacturing facilities without specialized modifications).
Lack of Mandatory Technical Maintenance: Climate equipment used in commercial spaces requires regular professional servicing. The warranty is void if the corporate user fails to provide proof of official technical maintenance (cleaning, filter changes, pressure checks) performed at least once every 6 months.
Unauthorized Installation: The system was mounted, connected, or commissioned by personnel or third-party contractors who are not officially certified or authorized by the Company/Manufacturer.
Grid and Environment Failures: The defect is caused by fluctuations in the commercial property's electrical grid, unstable voltage, phase drops, short circuits, or sub-standard ventilation infrastructure.
Tampering: Product safety seals are broken, or the factory serial numbers have been altered, removed, or made illegible.
Filing a Corporate Claim: All warranty claims must be submitted officially from the organization's corporate email address to info@goat.ge, stating the legal name of the entity, Identification Code (ID), and attaching photos of the serial numbers and the defect.
Transport Logistics: The Corporate Buyer is responsible for the uninstallation and delivery of the defective equipment to the designated authorized brand service center at their own expense, unless a separate on-site maintenance agreement was purchased.
